FUND A ONE-YEAR WELLNESS PROGRAM FOR UNDER-RESOURCED YOUTH
You can donate $42 a month to sponsor one youth, or you can start a fundraiser and ask others to join you to raise more money to sponsor multiple youth through our programs.
Our Nature-Based Wellness Programs for under-resourced youths living in urban areas last for one year, focusing on fostering mental and physical health, personal development, self-exploration, emotional regulation, team work, developing ecological consciousness, and fostering environmental stewardship. After an immersive experience in nature, we follow up with participants one weekend each month, and each time we engage in a new activity in a new place.
The one-year program costs $500 per youth, or $42 per month. You can also fund half of all activity costs for $21 a month.
Nearly all of the activities we do are a "first" for participants. For most of our participants, our program is the first time they've left the city, and the first time they climb, camp, kayak, experience a ropes course, or engage in outdoor activities of any kind. You can see a list of the activities you'll be providing below. Together, these experiences help foster a healthier developmental process for those we serve.
